What is AcademiaSync?

AcademiaSync (Powered by open-source Moodle engine) is the new and secure Maplewood Academy’s academic toolbox (or Learning Management System). AcademiaSync is offering an advanced content design, a variety of student communication tools, easy-to-use course administration features, and parent observation access. Through a number of built-in tools and effective integration of other educational technologies, this powerful platform allows for greater pedagogical flexibility and engagement.

Common features of AcademiaSync include:

Effective Engagement and Collaboration: conduct discussions; facilitate webinars, organize assignment groups.
Assessment ‘of’ and ‘for’ Learning: apply assessment tools like quizzes, surveys, assignment submissions.
Intuitive Communication: send emails and announcements; track progress; manage course components through the calendar.

Log into AcademiaSync

Students will log into the AcademiaSync using your School Account (IMPORTANT: Do NOT use “Username” and “Password” fields in the login page).

When you are at the login page, please click Maplewood Account button with a green dot to sign in. If you log into other school services previously, you may directly log in by Single Sign-On service. Otherwise, you will be redirected to school account login page.

Instructors will log into the AcademiaSync using your School Account (IMPORTANT: Do NOT use “Username” and “Password” fields in the login page).

Parent will be assign a “Username” and a “Password”, and please use your credentials to login.

Note: When you FIRST log into AcademiaSync using assigned credentials, you MUST change your password.

What is inside of AcademiaSync?

Course materials and school resources can be found in AcademiaSync.

As a student, you can find course-related resources such as slides, recordings, assignments, quizzes, discussion forums, and other types of teaching materials. Instructors will also grade your assessments, and post marks on the website.
